From one fishing bucket to a growing community movement.

01 — Our Story

It started with a fishing video and one simple decision:

Leave it better than we found it.

In April 2026, a fishing trip at Hooples Creek in Ingleside revealed more than fish—it revealed a serious litter problem. A fishing bucket became a cleanup bucket, the moment was shared online, and Pure City Project was born.

Today, we bring volunteers and neighbours together to restore shorelines, parks, forests, roadways, illegal dump sites, and other outdoor spaces across Cornwall and surrounding Ontario communities.
